My precious jewel

Your loving, heavenly Father speaks to you today, saying, ‘My dear child, you are My precious jewel. You are finer than the finest of rubies, sapphires and diamonds.

Don’t turn away! Don’t dismiss My words to you today – don’t try to apportion them to someone else, for I speak truth to you! Listen and receive what I am saying to you – for if you truly accept My words to you today it will be a greater prize than the richest of the world’s rewards.’

Acceptance of the truth of who you are in God is greater than the biggest lottery jackpot that man can conceive. If million-pound prizes can change a life, how much more can His words truly change your life?!

And He says to you today, ‘You are a precious jewel, a clear and cut diamond – not cloudy, not rough. I shine into your deepest places and I shine through you. You are brilliant and bright, you are full of colour and light. You are made to dazzle. You are made to light up a room.’

Just like a diamond necklace shines brighter than the ‘stars’ at a film premiere, so much more do you shine out in the places that He leads you to. Listen to what your Saviour says to you today. Receive and accept His words…

You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace. How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride!

How much more pleasing is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your perfume than any spice! Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride; milk and honey are under your tongue.

The fragrance of your garments is like that of Lebanon. You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride; you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.
Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates with choice fruits, with henna and nard, nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with every kind of incense tree, with myrrh and aloes and all the finest spices.

You are a garden fountain, a well of flowing water streaming down from Lebanon.
Song of Solomon 4:9-15

  1. Within the first half hour of my working day, I was in tears in the toilet at my workplace. nI had woken up from a horrible dream, my colleague had had a go at me as soon as I got to work and my boss had told me that, despite having been told twice otherwise, I would not be receiving the pay rise I was due – just after having moved house, having rent due, Christmas presents to buy and no job as of the new year. nI cried out to God saying, 'God, I don't understand, this isn't fair. I want to trust you but the last few months have been so hard and now this and I can't see where you've been lately." I thought I heard God tell me he was looking after me but I have been struggling with his voice lately and couldn't accept this as his promise. nI dried my eyes and went back to my computer where I decided to check my emails, knowing my Lion Bites word would have arrived. No sooner had I opened it up, then it caught my eye that my very own name was scattered through this prophecy and I burst into tears again! I read it through and it took my breath away. God was speaking to me!! He knew exactly what was going on, in my heart and with my finances and He was speaking directly into my circumstance with his amazing promise. My whole day was lifted, not just from the heaviness of the morning but from the heaviness I have been carrying for a while. He really is so good. My understanding just gets in the way sometimes but I am gonna keep a copy of this word, that (in my inbox) was tailored to me and keep it as a reminder that He is listening, He is more than enough and He is good. nThank you.
