I hear the Lord ask, ‘What are your dreams and desires? I have good gifts for my children; will you tell me what is on your heart?’

Just because He searches the hearts of all men does not mean that He does not want to hear you tell Him about your dreams and desires. Relationship means that you can converse together, walk together and celebrate together, as God once walked in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve.

He says to you today, ‘Tell me your dreams and desires. I want to hear what is on your heart and show you my goodness, for I am pleased with you.’

James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Hebrews 10:22
let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

To begin this conversation is just as simple as speaking to anyone. Just begin talking to God – out loud if you can – speaking to Him about your hopes, dreams and desires. If you have not spoken to Him before then you can ask Him to reveal Himself to you – He will surely do it! The other principle we see in Scripture is with the prophet Samuel who said ‘ Here I am God – I am listening’ and wait for God to speak to you.
