God revealed a picture of an individual sitting at a desk typing into a computer completing an administrative task. The individual had been doing this for many years and there was filled with weariness, boredom and frustration with the task. Then the breath of God came and filled this individual, they were instantly filled with an ability to complete the task in a way that was fresh; they had an idea that would change the process to make it more efficient and exciting as well as being filled with a sense of wonder and joy once more.
The spirit of the Lord is saying ‘I am breathing my creative life to empower those in the workplace with new strength, ideas, leadership and solutions. As my breath comes, there will be an ability to ‘look again’ at some situations and at your workload with renewed eyes, enabling you to have a fresh approach to somethings that are currently stuck or just hard work. As I raised Ezekiel up to see potential in a dry and dead valley, so I am raising you up to see the potential in the areas of your work life that have become stale, monotonous and even dead.’
So, receive God’s breath of life in your workplace today; take courage and know that He sees you at your desk, in your overalls on that building site, in that classroom teaching pupils, in the kitchen producing food for customers. He sees you wherever you work and deeply cares for it. Now He’s releasing strength to you to enjoy life and approach your job in a fresh and exciting way.
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood on their feet, a vast multitude.
