Be Content

I am calling you to come to a place of being content in all things. Whether you have a physical need or live in abundance and wealth if you are being held captive or a free person. I want you to come and find full contentment in me. Being content in all things isn’t being self-sufficient, instead it is sufficiency in Me, Christ Jesus whose peace and purpose you can enjoy regardless of life’s circumstances. Come and enjoy the fullness of my presence today and be content knowing that I am all you need to be content in life. 

Philippians 4: 11-13 NIV

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him, who gives me strength.
