Digging Deep – your Lion Bite word for today

I am turning over the ground of your life, digging deep, breaking up hard soil, taking out the rocks and roots that have been buried out of sight.  I am rooting out the deeply hidden, the overlooked things that you are unaware of or that have seemed unimportant. 

I am preparing the soil for new seeds, different to previous seasons, and that needs depth.  Don’t look back to what has grown before, what has flourished in the past.  In this change of season, in this new space that I am calling you to occupy, I am growing in you things that will take you by surprise.  I am expanding what you think is possible.  Don’t limit what I can do in and through you.  

This is a time to ‘give it a go’.  I am planting something of substance, of longevity.

Activation

Revisit the parable of the sower in Matthew 13:1-23 but read it in a different version to your normal bible reading and allow God to speak to you afresh in relation to this word from what may feel like a familiar passage.
