Do It His Way – your Lion Bites word for today

Do not fall into the trap of old habits, well-trodden paths or familiar ways. For the Holy Spirit says to you, ‘My ways are not your ways. Be obedient to me in the everything and I will help you navigate a more excellent way’.

You may need to adjust your course at this time if you have inadvertently taken some paces without checking in with the the Lord. His word should guide your every step (Psalm 119:133). Don’t just assume that because something ‘feels’ right to you and to those around you that it must be the way. Learn to discern what the Spirit is saying. Press in and evalute each move with Him. And He says to you, ‘I have blessings for those who are obedient to me that you have not even begun to imagine’.

Know that His way is not always the easiest-looking path to take; it can even be narrow and uncomfortable in places. But His way is the best way. It’s the way of adventures, of signs, wonders and miracles. It’s the way of impossible breakthroughs and of inexpressibly and glorious joy (1 Peter 1:8).
