Exchanging regrets for great hope – your Lion Bites word for today

This is a time to capture every thought and put it through the filter of God’s Word. The Lord has made you more than an overcomer, He has purchased your freedom and your righteousness. The accuser is unrelenting and the accusations come constantly yet they are like birds that have no right or place to roost on you. You are purchased by His blood, and Jesus is here to still your mind and to fill it with thoughts that bring life and great joy. Allow Him.

Exchange your regrets for His great hope. Don’t be harnessed and forced to pull great weights of sadness, but instead run wild and free! Leave behind the thoughts that drag you back into your past and instead focus on the promises He has given you for the future. As a sunflower turns to face the sun, so the Lord encourages you to track Him wherever He is, allowing Him to light your way and let the shadows fall behind you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

Philippians 4:6-8
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
