Highway of Holiness – your Lion Bites word for today

I see a road being constructed, slicing forward into beautiful virgin wilderness. I am offended, seeing only destruction, and I cry out.

But the Spirit of the Lord says, “No! This is a highway of holiness. I am taking you forward into places you have never been before. The past is finished, the new has begun. I am the Ancient of Days. My Word stands forever. Come up, come up, ascend! The Highway of Holiness is already built. Only my righteous ones walk on it. No wild beasts are there, nor are there any shadows or pitfalls. I call you up – if you are willing – into the day of my power.”

Leap forward with unbridled joy into the unknown. You are one who is led by the Lord. Be filled with His power, confident in His truth, untouchable, undefeated, blessed and equipped. The way is open. The momentum is forwards only.

Isaiah 35:8-10
And a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
the unclean shall not pass over it.
It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there.
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
