Jump in! –  your Lion Bites word for today

When it comes to the presence of God, maybe you feel like your standing on the edge of a pool that looks so inviting yet, despite your desperation to jump in, you are afraid of being overwhelmed. Is the water too deep? Will it be too cold? Will the current pull me away? Will I lose control?

The Lord would say to you ‘Put fear aside and jump in any way. You will not be overwhelmed, or frozen, or out of your depth! My everlasting arms are around you, underneath you and over you; you are safe with me and you will get to love the new environment you are entering. I have gone before you, I am with you and I will never leave you! Take heart and jump in!’

Psalm 91:2
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Deuteronomy 33:27
