Satisfaction – your Lion Bites word for today

Why do you look around to see what they have or what they’re doing? Why do you let your gaze be focused on others? Did I call you to be like that person?

No. I called you to be like ME. How will you know what I am doing and what I call you to be if you don’t look to me?

I have gifts for you. I have things for you to walk in. I have my gaze set on you as I call you to look at me. Choose to seek me first. Put me above all others. Let my words, my thoughts, my love, and all that I am be your food. Eat from my table. Let me satisfy you. Once you are satisfied by me, then you will see that all the solutions, the answers, the provision, and the meaning you longed for are all found in me.

Psalm 23:5 NASB
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.

Psalm 107:9 NASB
For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.

  1. This word goes right along with something the Lord showed me a few days ago. My lovely wi8fe and I were listening to a story of a man’s miracle. This gentleman was recalling his encounter with God in vivid detail. As he described what the Lord had done for him I hear my wife yell; “WOW!”. In that instant that desire to also say “WOW!” began to well up on the inside of me and then the Holy Spirit spoke. He said; “Do not say wow.”. Stunned I stopped and sort of scratched my head and I wondered; “OK so what is this Lord?” Then the Lord began to speak to me. “Stop being amazed by what should become normal to you my child. Too many people are amazed at merely what I do or what I provide and yet they are not fully enamored with ME. Focus upon ME and not my miracles. Do not be amazed at what should become normal but, rather be amazed by who I am!” I remembered a previous vision where I saw the hands of Jesus but couldn’t see His face. That was the whole vision and now I understand. Too many of us are only seeing what the hands f the Lord do when we should be seeking His face more. Oh that so convicted me! Now the Lord has added to what He is doing and saying in my life with this word. I once told the Lord that I wanted to be His friend and how can I be much of one if I am only happy with what He has or does and not truly in LOVE with who HE IS?
