Today, the Father says, “I sit here beside you, waiting for you to look over and gaze into my face, waiting for you to lean over and rest your head on my shoulders. Instead, you gaze ahead saying, ‘I’ll pencil you in LORD for a meeting at another time.’”
Beloved, my heart grieves and longs for you. Will you put the phone, laptop, diary and other distractions down? Do you not know that I have made you for such a time as this? These are the days and hours of making history. These are the days and hours of shaping society and culture. And it all begins by turning your gaze to ME, leaning on ME, focusing on My voice and no other.”
Activation: Set aside time today and ask the LORD how you can be a good friend to Him, how you can be an attentive child to Him. Submit your time and energy to Him, allowing the LORD to set the agenda for your times spent together. If you need to, leave your phone and other devices on silent in a different room so that nothing pulls you away from the face of the LORD.
Esther 4:14 NIV HCSB
If you keep silent at this time, liberation and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father’s house will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.
Isaiah 55:6 NIV
Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
