Suddenly! – your Lion Bites word for today

A bride, serene, beautiful, full of joy, is posing for her photographs. A block away a man is entering a smart shoe shop, pulling his wallet from his expensive pocket. Downtown, a woman in labour is safely arriving at the hospital, her husband seconds behind. At home, their toddler is standing up and taking his first step while grandma claps her hands with delight.

Suddenly, in a breath, everything changes.

A wind blows in from the harbour. It rushes through every house, every business, every factory, every shop. It lifts off roofs, blinds the eye of every window, tosses gates and walls and pillars out of its way. It rips up trees: from the roots to the branches, down come the mighty cedars. It overturns ships. It causes rivers of grain to fall to the ground and be trampled underfoot.

Such is the suddenly of the enemy.

But MY suddenly is coming! I am on the move, mighty to save. I am the Redeemer. I am the Saviour. Look up! I am ready to heal your lands all around the globe. The turmoil and devastation are drawing millions into MY household. See, I have made room for all! I desire all to be where I am. This is your time, my Church, my Bride, to cry aloud, “Our God reigns!” This is your hour to shake yourselves, to stir yourselves up, to reach out with fearlessness, ingenuity, compassion and power. Love my broken-hearted ones. Heal their wounds. Feed their children. Lead them all to Me.
