The Secret Place – your Lion Bites word for today

When life feels uncomfortable, challenging, wearisome and tiring, I offer rest and refreshment. This offer is permanent and unchanging. It is available to all at any time.

Do not despair when it feels as if you are on your own with no one to comfort you. I long to be your comfort! Do not be overcome and overwhelmed by your circumstances, but bring them to me. Let me carry them. Do not let fear grab hold for I am here! There is no need to fear anyone or anything. I am with you!

I, the One who defeated sin and death, come to offer you all that you need. Every one of your needs is met in the secret place with me. Come and do not delay!

Psalm 91:1-8 NIV
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
