THE VENUE

Due to the massive demand for this event, we are excited to have moved the conference to the huge Hall 5 of the Scottish Events Campus (SEC), Scotland’s internationally renowed conference park. This will give us capacity for up to 1,200 guests – the largest scale event that we have ever hosted! Worship is going to be amazing! Please note that we expect the event to sell-out so be sure to book in advance.

The SEC is well located, close to the city centre, with its own train station, car parking and excellent bus, rail, taxi and air links. The campus is surrounded by high quality hotels to suit all budgets. The venue is also easily accessible for visitors with mobility and accessibility needs.

more information

Are there any Covid-19 restrictions?

All Covid-19 restrictions in Scotland/the UK have been lifted, including the wearing of masks. There are no restrictions on travel or entry into the UK. You should check your own country’s re-entry requirements for your return journey (for example, as of June 2022, a test is required before travelling to the USA). As with all all foreign travel you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance.

In the very unlikely event of a resumption of any Covid-19 restrictions that might lead to the cancellation of this conference we will fully refund all tickets, or offer a free transfer to a rescheduled event.

Are children welcome?

Children of all ages are welcome, but please note that our conferences involve long sessions and so they should be of a maturity to be able to sit without disturbing other registered guests.

Please note that we do NOT have a separate children’s programme or childcare facilities.

You can purchase tickets for under 18’s and under 12’s.

Where should I stay?

Glasgow has a wide selection of hotels to suit every budget and preference. The Courtyard by Marriott and Moxy Hotel are directly opposite the venue, and there are a number of large hotels beside the Scottish Event Campus (including Radisson Red, Crowne Plaza, Hilton Garden Inn and Campanile) and there’s a Premier Inn and Village hotels just across the river, via a pedestrian bridge.

The Glasgow Marriott and Hilton Glasgow are large hotels located close to Anderston train station – a 10 minute walk or 2 minute train journey from the SEC. There are also options in the City Centre such as Radisson Blue, Grand Central and more budget options such as the Premier Inn; they are ideally placed right next to train stations!

Comparison sites such as booking.com Expedia and Kayak can help you find other hotels, apartments and B&Bs.

Where can we eat?

Unfortunately meals are not provided. There will be adequate breaks to allow you to travel to local cafes, restraurants and fast food outlets. There are also a few food places within the SEC, which you can find on their website.

How easy is the SEC to get to?
The SEC is one of Scotland’s best known and most popular venues. BY TRAIN: There are more than 20 direct trains per day from London. Direct trains from Edinburgh run every 15 minutes on weekdays. Scotrail is the main operator in Scotland and has information on the West Highland Line, the North Highland Line and Caledonian Sleepers (overnight trains from Scotland to London). Check ScotRail’s latest timetables or download the ScotRail app by texting ‘ScotRail’ to 86688. Once in the city centre, the SEC is a three-minute train ride from Glasgow Central. If you arrive at Queen Street, you’ll need to walk or get a bus to Central to continue your journey by train. The SEC has its own dedicated railway station – Exhibition Centre – allowing easy access from the city centre and suburbs. There are six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Glasgow Central station, departing from Platform 17 (low level).

Strathclyde Passenger Transport operates the Glasgow Subway providing quick and convenient connections from 15 points across the city (the St. Enoch stop is a few minutes’ walk from Central Station for onward transfer to the campus). BY BUS: The X19 Stagecoach service operates near to the Scottish Event Campus, stopping on Finnieston Street only a few minutes’ walk from the venues. X19 Stagecoach timetable.

ON FOOT: Glasgow is a very walkable and easy to navigate city. The Clyde Walkway runs right past the SEC, providing an invigorating start to day time events, or a scenic stroll to night-time happenings. There are two foot bridges, which cross the Clydeside Express Way (dual carriageway connecting the west end to Glasgow city centre) at both the front and rear of the campus. Three pedestrian bridges traverse the River Clyde near the SEC. Bells Bridge and the Millenium Bridge connect the campus to the Science Centre and BBC while, a little further east, the Clyde Arc (affectionately known as the ‘Squinty Bridge’) carries both vehicles and pedestrians.
Is there car parking?

Yes, there is a large multi-storey car park beside the SEC Hydro, but please note this is chargeable and not free. The SEC (Scottish Event Campus) is conveniently situated for motorists, just off the M8 motorway and with plenty of parking.

Leave the M8 at junction 19 and join the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814). Westbound on the Expressway (A814) take the cut off for the campus. Turn left at traffic lights and take the right lane to access multi-storey parking. View a map and directions.

Scotland has an extensive motorway network. Glasgow is linked to Edinburgh by the M8 and England via the M74. The M80 connects Stirling to Glasgow, while the M77 connects us to the west coast of Scotland.

Traffic Scotland provides up to date traffic and roadworks information.

The postcode for your satnav is G3 8YW.

More info can be found on their website in regards to prices.

Where should I fly to?

Although Glasgow is served by Glasgow International Airport (GLA) there are also options for the international flyer at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) just an hour from Glasgow.

Will there be merchandise to buy?

Yes! The GPA shop will be open throughout the conference, with new and exclusive merch, books and other gifts.

Can I get a prophetic word at the conference?

Because of the large number of attendees and the busy nature of the event our ministry teams will not be able to offer personal ministry, Prophetic Check-Ups or Miracle Clinic appointments. However, you will all hear from God during this conference!

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes. All in-person attendees will receive access to conference recordings after the event. This is included in your conference registration fee.

Will the event be live-streamed / on demand?

YES. You can register to watch live or on-demand (any time you want) at https://powertv.propheticalliance.com/

Why do you charge for registration?

Most of our broadcasts, services and ministry are completely free to watch and attend. We are a charity and, as such, do not run to make a profit but instead to benefit the public through the advancement of the Christian faith. Very special events, like this one, cost tens of thousands to host – from event hire and equipment costs, to speaker travel and staffing. We put these on to encourage the wider church family and to demonstrate that the worship of Jesus Christ is worth the sacrifice. The decision to move this conference to the SEC, which is very expensive to hire, was taken so that many hundreds more people could be part of the event. We have to charge registration prices that are higher than usual in order to cover some of our costs. Even still, we believe that these prices are no higher than what we would all pay for similar events/hobbies/entertainment and/or education in the ‘secular’ world and represent good value for money.

We have introduced a higher priced ‘pay it forward’ ticket which allows generous patrons to ‘sponsor’ a discount on tickets for those who are less able to pay towards the full price of the event. We also continue to provide large discounts for young people, the future of the church.

You can spread your payments over a few months by choosing the PayPal option at checkout.

Can I pay later/ spread payments?

Yes, when you ‘Checkout’ to pay your ticket and complete you details you will be given the option to spread your payment across three equal interest-free payments by using the PayPal payment option.
