⏰ Heaven’s Alarm ⏰ – your Lion Bites word for today

There is a sound like that of an alarm clock ringing out ‘for such a time as this’. Have you heard it? Can you hear it now, in the spirit? If you have, don’t hit the snooze button and roll over back to sleep!

And there is a ‘reveille’ trumpet being blown which calls the church to awaken from her sleep. The call is for her to get up, get dressed in her heavenly armour, take the ruling sword of the Spirit in her hand and begin to mightily advance, in order to possess, re-possess and occupy territory for the Kingdom of God.

God requiring that we hear His voice and obey, by laying aside all that would distract or sidetrack us from a ‘wide awake’, lively engagement with the Holy Spirit’s leading. Make this your day of total commitment! God is calling you to be one who is wholeheartedly involved in demonstrating the realities of His Kingdom.

So, if you feel your passion for God has become lethargic or lukewarm of late, you can make a new resolve today to become ‘hot’ again. Don’t leave it any longer. Hear the alarm call! It’s time now to return to spending time in prayer with Jesus, reading His word and asking His Spirit to help you rekindle your love and devotion for Him. He desires to set you on fire, even now as you ask.

Be bold – and may today be the day you wake up. The alarm is sounding!
