Alive to Christ and to righteousness!

1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.

Many of My people are living their lives as if they were little children, babes in Christ. And like little babes and toddlers, they explore everything and put all sorts of things into their mouths; into their lives that maturity does not do.

It is time for you to taste the meat of My word and to know that which should not be I your life. It’s only with the meat of My word that your faith will grow, but it must not be contaminated by that which is of the world.

Put away the childish, and the things that so easily distract you. Count yourself dead to sin and the world, but alive in Christ and to righteousness! Learn to better discern between truth and lie. Stand in the maturity and the authority that is yours in Christ Jesus, and get ready to step out in faith. It’s growth time! It’s taking your place time!

Ephesians 4:13-15
This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
