Awake, O Sleeper! – your Lion Bites word for today

I hear the spirit of the Lord say, ‘Your season of immobility is over. I am kick-starting you, this day, into the hour of acceleration.
 
I speak to your spirit today and call it out of its slumber. There’s no place for complacency in my body. I am causing you to wake up, get out of your ‘cosy’ mentalities and begin to run again.’
 
For some, you have felt ‘stuck’ for years – this feeling of, ‘I’m not getting anywhere’ has been a repetitive course that your life has taken. You have been going round and round with the same sin, the same habits, the same ideas and the same place spiritually. I come today to break you out of this cycle. I say to you, ‘Wake Up!’ I have created you for much more than this.
 
For others, you were once considered a fiery-footed, fast-paced trailblazer. But in recent months you have come against some giants in family, health and finance that have caused you to grind to a halt. I say to you, be like David, who saw his enemy first and still said, ‘I will go and fight him!’ (1 Samuel 17). David did not let the size of his enemy intimidate him or make him freeze. Consider your call again! Choose to do this today.
 
The Lord is looking for those who will say to him, ‘Here I am, send me’, no matter what they are facing.
