Bathe in God’s never-ending love – your Lion Bites word for today

The Lord is inviting you to bathe in His love and compassion so that you can be anchored in who He really is, no matter the circumstances you face. Set aside time and choose to soak in the overwhelming, never-ending love of God today; allow yourself to lay back into His arms and be embraced by His compassion and grace. Give yourself permission to stop, sit down and receive. It’s good to give and give but it is also really good to receive. Let God readjust the balance between giving and receiving so that one isn’t more important than the other, becoming one who receives and gives in equal measure as the Spirit of God leads.

Some of you might feel like you have to run a bath and soak as a prophetic act that you are giving yourself permission to bathe in His love. Or, you may want to lay on your comfiest sofa with your favourite blanket as a sign that you are stopping and letting God embrace you. Whatever it looks like, be intentional about receiving from God today. Don’t hurry with a prayer agenda or with lots of words. Sit back, arms open to receive and let God love you.
