Be Prepared – your Lion Bites word for today

‘I am coming suddenly. I am coming soon. Are you ready? Are you prepared for my coming?’

The Lord is making ready His Bride. He is calling His people into a place of intentional preparation and purposed refining. He is making us pure and spotless, without blemish or fault. This process will produce beauty. But the Holy Spirit reminds us to be a people who are willing to endure the refining, purification and pruning that this process brings, that we might reach that place of beauty and purity.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, says to His people, ‘I am coming suddenly. I am coming soon. Are you ready? Are you prepared for my coming? Do not despise the process nor hate the refiner’s fire. Do not allow fear or worry to creep in as I, with your willingness, make you ready. For in this time there are many ‘quick fixes’ – but see that these only last for one moment and mean nothing in eternity. So press through in the journey, continue on through the process and you will see that it Is worth it. I promise to you that you will know of my goodness in the refining and I will surely pass before you in the process.’

Allow the Holy Spirit to highlight to you places you need His refining. Ask if there is anything that needs to be cut off from you and that you need to break agreement with. And, through partnership with Him, repent and give to Him all blemishes and spots that would seek to spoil your beauty. For you are part of the beautiful Bride that the Lamb of God is returning to marry.

Ephesians 5:25-27
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Revelation 19:7
Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
