LION BITES

On your feet!  Stand up! It’s time for action to be on the move.
This is not the time to sit with your feet up.  This is not the time to
hide in the back row.

I have readied you for action. You are “booted and suited”. It’s time
to move.  You are ready for action.

God is silencing the whispering of the enemy, trying to tell you that
you are not ready or robbing you of the confidence that God has clothed
you in.

I have made you to walk in peace, not panic.  You are ready to walk the
paths I have laid down for you, the way I have cleared for you.  I have
gone ahead of you.  I have laced up your feet tight.  The shoes fit
you well.  The shoes are not too tight, and equally, they are not too
big.  I have equipped you with the shoes you need for this season.  Do
not be afraid that your feet will slip.  Do not be fearful of
falling.  I have made you sure-footed for the paths I am leading you
along.

Psalm 18:32-36 (NIV)
It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.  He makes
my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.  You
make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your
help has made me great.  You provide a broad path for my feet so that
my ankles do not give way.

Ephesians 6:13-15 (NIV)
Therefore, put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil
comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done
everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled
around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and
with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of
peace.
