Come Higher, Come Deeper, Come Closer – your Lion Bites word for today
Each and every time the angels and the living creatures and the elders encircle the throne of God they see a new revelation of Him that makes them cry out, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty!’ Don’t you want to see this? Don’t you long for a new revelation of Him?
Revelation 4:6b;8
In the centre, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and behind… Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”
And God calls to you today, ‘My precious child, I call you up, I call you to come so close to my throne that you see a new revelation of me, this and every new day, a new revelation that makes you cry out, ‘Holy, holy, holy!’
Jesus paved the way for you to be there. His sacrifice gave you this intimate access to the Holy of Holies. So don’t hold back from entering in; don’t let false humility cause you to believe the lie that you are not worthy. You have been made worthy by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ.
And He reminds you now – ‘I long for greater intimacy with you. I long to reveal more of my character to you. I long to fellowship with you. Come higher, come deeper and come closer. You are welcome, you are wanted, you are longed for. I am waiting here for you, my child’.

And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices. And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
