Coming like a tidal wave – your Lion Bites word for today

The sea is calm. Your small boat bobs along the water, at a pace so drowsy it would struggle to be considered movement. But then, Jesus comes to you as a wave, higher and greater than you could have ever expected.

The unbridled passion of Jesus Christ is coming to overcome you like a tidal wave!

Your boat will be smashed to pieces – you don’t need it when you are in His wave. Everything’s different now. Christ is here and there is no escaping His gaze, His touch; so allow Him to take you. Despite the nervousness you feel, He will be gentle with you – even despite His great and awesome magnitude. For this wave is His unbridled passion for you. Why should he muzzle his love for you?
So relax and remain calm as Jesus Christ comes upon the wave and, with one sweeping movement, takes you in his arms.
