Dance for the King

Beautiful, beautiful is the woman as she dances for the King, dressed in flowing garments of green. Her life is just beginning; her bridegroom is on His way. She finishes her dance and bows low before the King. As she rises she is suddenly clothed in white marriage garments – now her heart begins to race: He’s almost here, He’s almost here! And then she catches a glimpse of her beloved, her heart pounds in her ears, knowing that He is coming for her. Their eyes lock and not a word is spoken as He sweeps her into His arms and they dance before the King, moving as one, just perfect love. As the dance finishes, they bow before the King seated on His throne, then the bridegroom opens His mouth and says, “Father, may I present my bride to you?” and with that He takes her hand and guides her to the King, no longer a stranger, no longer distance between the two. The King beckons her to come and sit beside Him and with that they lock eyes, there too is the same love that her bridegroom has for her, for the two are one. “I have been waiting a long time for you, my heart has so longed for this moment. You are welcome here; all I have is yours and nothing will I withhold from you.”

John 17:23
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear
