I saw people dancing in the street, their faces turned heavenwards, a gentle rain falling on them, soaking them with God’s presence. Some had decided to stay inside, safe from the rain. But those who ventured out were being washed from heaven. Faces were washed free from their old expressions of fear and despair. Worry lines and miserable expressions disappeared. Heavy weights dissolved away; sorrows, misunderstandings, gloom and despondency were showered off. It was so gentle and refreshing, joy-giving and exhilarating. The people had so much delight and freedom that they began to dance with abandon, to revel in the cleaning and freeing up of their lives that God was doing. There was a new openness of heart towards God, a delight in His refreshing rain, a soaking in His cleansing holy Spirit.
