Footsteps – your Lion Bites word for today

Follow me, my child. Follow me wherever I lead you, for my way is the best way for you and your life. I have nothing but the fullness of life for you, so follow me.
 
Do not follow the footsteps of the spirits of this age, which will try to lead you astray and tempt you beyond yourself and your limits. Do not yield to another – yield only to me. I am all you need and all your desires are found in me.
 
Come back to the path which you began on – come back to the start and listen to my heart for you. I will lead you in all truth and righteousness – so follow me.
 
Jeremiah 16:19-21
LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, ‘Our ancestors possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good. Do people make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods!’
