God showed me a shelf high up on a wall; it was hard to reach, with the objects on it gathering dust.
There are those of you who identify with this and feel as if you are up there on that shelf – unnoticed, without influence and with no voice.
For some of you, you got there because of the words that belittled you. Others, you went there yourself because of offence and hurt. For others, it was the lies of the enemy that put you in that position.
God says, ‘How long will you sit in the place that I did not make for you? How long will you believe the lies and carry the offence?
Stand up and shake off the dust and get ready! I am about to breathe on you with the fresh wind of my Spirit and take you from that place of uselessness and decay.
I created you and I have chosen you for good works planned before the foundation of the earth and my word will have its fulfillment in your life. (Ephesians 2:10)
Like I said to Elijah I say to you now, ‘What are you doing here?’ (1 Kings 19:13) This is not the place to which I have called you. It’s time to move. It’s time to move with the wind of my Spirit. I have chosen you!’
Ephesians 4:1
Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called
2 Timothy 1:6
For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
