Gear Shift
Has it felt like you’ve been stuck in a rut recently?
As if you are unable to go any further, stuck in the same old patterns?
Don’t despair, my child.
Be prepared to steer away from the dirt track as I am taking you back out on the highway. I am pulling you out of old traditions. I am breaking you out of the debilitating routine, and releasing the wheels from spinning in the mud.
There is a turn coming.
It may feel like a backward step initially, but it will pivot you towards the new direction I am calling you to go. You are getting the thrill back, and the exuberance of being on the road again. The pace will pick up and it may feel scary at first, but you are ready for it. Be aware of my presence right next to you and listen out for my clear directions. I will show you how to keep in step with me. You will finally be able to shift gears as you pursue the journey.
Activation: Take a moment to write down patterns or old methods you feel stuck in. Then write down what change you’d like to see. Ask God to help you to trust that He will bring these changes to pass. If there is fear of leaving the old, confess it to the Lord and ask Him for increased boldness to step out.
