He will storm the impenetrable fortress! – your Lion Bites word for today

Do not be disheartened by the seemingly impenetrable walls of stubborn pride surrounding those who you have been praying for – loved ones, work colleagues and those you have been trying to communicate with.

You [Edom] have been deceived by your own pride because you live in a rock fortress and make your home high in the mountains, “Who can every reach us way up here?” you ask boastfully” Obadiah 1:3

‘Are they ever going to cry out to God’, you wonder? How do they flourish without God in their lives?

Cry out to God on their behalf and then trust Him. His eyes of love see beyond the walls, to those imprisoned within. Stand back and allow the Lord to shake that mountain of pride and be prepared to receive with love those who He sets free. Watch while the walls of the fortress of pride crumble into dust and the prison doors are opened! For it is not by our many words or by mighty armies or by our righteous indignation that strongholds are conquered and hearts are set free, but by Spirit of the Lord.

Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Psalm 107:10-14
