Honour authority and receive yours

Matthew 8:9 (NLT)
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.”

The swords that the Lord is placing into the hands of His children in this age are long and weighty and the shields are large and heavy. But there is a new revelation of the authority and strength being released to those who have been asked to carry these weapons.

To operate in the fullness of this revelation, the Lord is asking you choose to walk into a new, higher place of recognising and honouring the authority of those around and above you.
Study the Word of the Lord and its commands to honour, respect and obey. It’s tough to do sometimes but Jesus offers you His heart, and His grace for this.

As you honour the authority of others there is a promise from Heaven that you will see your own spiritual authority increase – so that you might better use the weapons of God that are so essential in the battles of this day and days to come
