I pierce the darkness – your Lion Bites word for today

When Jesus came He pierced the darkness. He came as revealer, the One who makes everything clear. His Spirit wants to floodlight your life, filling it with righteousness and godly living, showing you areas that need attention, revealing new paths and possibilities, giving you creativity, releasing new thoughts, showing you things you didn’t know you had – gifts, talents, abilities.

He dispels all the darkness of ‘can’t do’, ‘impossible’ and ‘not now’. He makes the whole path ahead clear and bright. He radiates light so that you feel safe where you are going.

His light enlightens every child of His with His truth. His life is light-filled, His words are light-filled. There is no darkness at all in the place where He is; no fear in His brightness. And, as the glory of the Lord lights up the shepherds’ fields like daylight and the stable is filled with the light of His arrival, so this world will never be the same again. Darkness is on the run, satan’s legions are fleeing. You are a champion of His light. This is the year for you to be a bringer of light, wherever you go.

1 Thessalonians 5:5-6
You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.

Ephesians 5:8-11
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
