I See You

I care about the one. I leave the 99 to go after the one. The one who is lost, the one who is rejected, the one who is full of fear. I am here, my child. Yes, you, the lonely one. I see you. I have come for you. 

I became a child upon the earth, vulnerable and naked so that you could know me. I grew and died for you so that my Spirit could come to you. I have never left you or forsaken you. Even though you have tried to hide,  I sought you out.  I love you; I seek you. My precious one, let me in. Let my light, my love, fill you where you feel empty, dead or in the dark, for I am the light of the world that gives light to every man; in me, there is no darkness. Let my light illuminate your heart so that you know you belong to my family and me.

Then Jesus told them this parable:  “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it.

The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. 

John 8:12 NIV 

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
