In His Book – your Lion Bites word for today

Revelation 21:22,27
I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple […] Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

The Lamb’s book of life is not written by human hands. It belongs to Christ Jesus and contains the names of the redeemed – everyone who has repented and given their life to Him and who will live with Him forever.

You who are His: know that your name is recorded in His book. You are precious to Him, beloved child of God. And know that this is not just in the age to come but this is now – you are precious in His eyes now.

And God says to you today that there are assured blessings for you right now, not just in heaven. You don’t need to plead with Him, or try to provoke His pity but instead know that He responds to those who put their faith and trust in Him. So let go of worry and self-pity and remember who you are, a child of God, with a name written in the Lamb’s book. Heaven’s blessing will be released as you know your Abba, Father, who is gentle, gracious, loving and merciful and who wants the best for you. Take this revelation, know it and move it beyond just a ‘head thought’ so that it may be planted deep within your heart.

Your name is in His book. You are His.
