Intercede for your nation
‘I am calling this nation to return to Me,’ declares the Lord. ‘Put away your idols and come to Me, the source of real life. Then I will bless you and bless others through you.’
The judgement and wrath of God is a certain and pressing reality. He is pure hearted, jealous for His people and cannot stand evil. Today He calls you to urgently intercede, repenting for your nation, so that they would return to Him with all their hearts.
‘Today, declare My goodness and mercy over your land, for I am eager to forgive and rich in love.’
Jeremiah 4:1-2
If you, Israel, will return, then return to me,’ declares the LORD.
‘If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray, and if in a truthful, just and righteous way you swear, “As surely as the LORD lives,” then the nations will invoke blessings by him and in him they will boast.’
