Know the tone of God’s voice – your Lion Bites word for today

John 10:4
‘….and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.’

Do you know your Heavenly Father’s voice? Most likely, you are saying ‘Yes’, or ‘I think I do’. But do you know the tone of His voice?

A lot is conveyed by the tone of a voice. We need to know the tone of our Father’s voice so that even His rebuke or correction is heard from a place of love and restoration. Father God only rebukes and corrects in order for us to grow and fulfil our destiny. So, if we know the tone of His voice then whatever He says to us, be it affirmation, love, correction or rebuke, we will always hear it from a place of uplifting encouragement and love.

Ask God to help you hear not only His voice clearly, but also the tone of His voice clearly.
