Lay hold of your destiny with both hands – your Lion Bites word for today

Pursue me! Lay hold of all that I have for you with both hands. Set down those things that are not absolutely necessary for the next stage of your journey with me. Take only what you need as you advance forward, because I will provide for you in the next stage.
 
One wouldn’t try to open a closed door whilst carrying a heavy tray. So why not set down the tray – the things that you’ve been carrying close to your chest – and grab hold of the doorknob with both hands. Turn the handle, push open the door. See! I have made provision for you in the next stage of your pursuit of the greater things. You’ll soon forget about the things you had with you before, as I replace them with all that you need.
 
– Are your hands free? Are you trying to balance a load whilst walking forward with God? Trust Him – He has much more for you!
 
Proverbs 3:3-6
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
