Lay your discouragement down – your Lion Bites word for today

It is time to let go of disappointment and discouragement and press on to the new things that God has for you.

He sees your heart that carries disappointment from promises unfulfilled and the discouragement that came from not seeing all that you had hoped for come to pass.

He calls to those who feel this way and says, ‘Lay your discouragement at my feet. You may not have seen the fulfillment because it wasn’t time yet. So do not let your disappointment stop you from advancing into the days where I answer your cries and fulfill what I have promised to you. Do not allow your heart to hold these negative emotions any longer, rather, bring them to me and allow me to free you up and set you on a forward motion into the new and good things that I have for you.’

Isaiah 40:28-31
Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
