Let your day be arrested! – your Lion Bites word for today

‘Today’, says the Lord, ‘your everyday activities, if surrendered to me, will lead to extraordinary consequences!’

Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well and arrested her day! It began as a day like every other day for her. She did not expect to be asked to do something so ordinary – yet at the same time so extraordinary because of who was asking her. Her everyday activity took on new significance that would change her life forever. She did not know it would change the lives of her entire community.

Today, as you go about your routine activities and draw water from the usual well, surrender them to God. Be watchful for the significance of what you do. And He says to you, ‘Be ready for me to disrupt your day by adding significant, spiritual weight to your actions. Be ready for the extraordinary consequences!’
