My Ambassador
My child, I have made and appointed you to be my Ambassador. Yes – you! Remember that you no longer belong to this world and its systems. You belong to me and to me alone. You are a person of influence, my representative, and I have called you to be my shining light in the places you walk.
You are an alien, a foreigner in the land where you reside, because you are now a citizen of heaven. Therefore you have diplomatic immunity from the natural constraints and limitations of this world. Abide by my ways and my example. Go and influence today. Go and do good today. Go and do great things today. Be my Ambassador.
Philppians 3:18b-21
… many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
