My Fire – your Lion Bites word for today
The Spirit of the Lord calls to you today, “Make way, make space, for I’m coming with glory. Just as in the days of old, where I would send my fire to prepare the way for my glory, so this day I am coming with my refining, purifying fire to burn up the dross and the peripheral distractions that keep you away from the persistent pursuit of my presence. Will you work with me in this process?
Let me bring to the surface the areas of contention in your life that I want my fire to invade and bring resolution to. Both in spirit and the natural, this will bring realignment and reprioritisation. My fire will bring alignment to the focus of your heart and of your time and energy. Let me refine your activities and your thought processes; let me purify your emotions and your relationships. Invite me to make right your imagination and your actions. Will you invite my fire to come?”

As soon as Solomon finished his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
