Opportunities

Rise and shine, for your time has come! The Glory of the Lord is upon you and your witness is far more powerful than you will know in this lifetime. You will one day see how much I have used you. If you knew it all now your own pride would probably swell and stand in the way of the purposes I have for you.

But you don’t feel like you are rising, shining or being a witness. You think if you just knew what to say (and how to say it), or how to pray (and in what way) in all the situations you find yourself then you would feel more like you were rising and shining.

Hear me. I don’t want you to have a formula, an unchanging method that keeps you from being in an organic, dynamic relationship with me. I want your heart, your mind and your willingness to take a risk even when it’s something new and different. To rise and shine is simply to listen and obey the flow of my Spirit in your life.

Your day has come!

Ephesians 5:13
But everything exposed by the light becomes visible – and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
