Out with the old and in with the new
In your life recently there has been some uneasiness, as if what seemed as sure foundations in your life have been shifting or falling away, causing you to feel uncomfortable and even uncertain. But I heard God say, ‘Rest easy my child, for I am at work’. Some of these foundations in your life were only supposed to be temporary and support you in a season. Now they have outgrown their use, becoming mouldy and collapsing. And the Lord says, ‘But I will not remove foundations from your life without replacing them because I say to you that I replace the old with the new. Do not be afraid and lose hope in what you have: fix your eyes on me and trust that I am in control. Allow me to replace the old with the new.’
