Pick up your knife and fork – your Lion Bites word for today

You’re more ready than you think. It’s time to ditch the spoon and pick up the knife and fork!

When you were a baby you began to be spoon fed, and the times of your nourishment were determined by another. You did not choose what you ate, rather it was brought to your mouth by the spoon and you relied wholly upon the one feeding you.

As it was in the natural, so it has also been with the things of the Spirit, but you have relied upon the spoon for too long. You have gone to those that would feed you and that is what you have relied upon, but I want to give you meat. I want to give you steak.

I no longer want you to be fed solely on the revelation and understanding of others, I want to deliver to you meaty and weighty revelation that will transform your life and consequently the lives of those around you. I order to receive you must come to me directly, ready to receive; not with the spoon, but with the knife and fork of expectancy – expecting to receive revelation and understanding. As a result, watch your spiritual muscles and your authority grow.

Hebrews 5:12-14
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

1 John 2:27
As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.
