Plans for transformation

You say to me, ‘rend the heavens’, and I respond, ‘rend your heart’. You cry out to me for mercy and I will indeed give both my grace and mercy to you in full measure. Yet you must break open your heart to me because I am a jealous God and I desire your full attention.

Let go of the things of this world that constrain and restrict. Reject all the patterns of life that are ‘wordly’ – all that constrain and distract you. Move into a place beyond these things that hinder and block your full view of me. Beyond the fears, idols of false worship, memories of failures and failings, personal habits, mind-sets that limit and even learned behaviours; all that is not in line with my Word or my will. Lay them down and leave them with me.

Then, agree to come up higher for a better perspective. I will show you more of the fullness of your destiny in me. I will release the fullness of my love for you, and you will receive it. You will watch as life increases in you and overflows. As you come up higher and align yourself with me, increasingly you will transform lives, even your nation(s). For I have such plans for you – such plans for your family – for your nation – and you are a key part of my divine plan. Agree to come up higher, move beyond the limitations of this world and see the fullness I am revealing to you.

Joel 2:12-14
“Even now,” declares the LORD, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave behind a blessing – grain offerings and drink offerings
for the LORD your God.
