Prepare the good soil – your Lion Bites word for today

Now is a good time to rid yourself of the weeds and stones that are in the garden of your life. ‘This is a time to remove the distractions in your life that prevent you from coming away with me, away to the secret place’, says the Lord. 

Ask yourself, ‘What, or who, has priority in my life; what do I make time for?’

The Lord your God wants to sow many things in your life, but is waiting for you to prepare and cleanse the soil, and to change your mind on some things. You already know that when you do spend time in His presence, you love it and you get excited and invigorated… but then the weeds grow over again and the stones fall back in and are not removed… and you get distracted.

But He says to you today, ‘I am a jealous God – jealous for your attention. I love when you make time for me. Prepare the ground for the new and vibrant plans that will glorify me and draw others to me, through you’.

But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.
