Prince of Peace – your Lion Bites word for today

God says that He has looked on those times in your experience where there has been a struggle and a wrestling in the midst of what felt like an out-of-control storm.

It seemed as if the storm you faced was raging ‘inside’ as well as ‘outside’ – a battle in the mind as much as it was an external challenge. But the Lord declares that His love is putting down the deep-rooted power of His word in your heart and mind, causing strength to be planted like an anchor for your soul.

He is coming into your battle with a word, with a ‘SHOUT!’. His word will still the stormy seas surrounding you at this time. ‘Peace, be still’.
 
The Lord is also exhorting you to join with Him in the ‘shout of peace’. He desires that you rise up with Him and command peace to reign in the midst of the storm. As you shout, angel armies will respond to the command for peace on your behalf, just as they were in action on the day they declared Emmanuel to be the Prince of Peace to the earth.

Know that God is giving you the ability to declare peace over adverse circumstances. Peace is a weapon backed by the hosts of heaven. The Lord is causing you to be a victor over every high and stormy gale in your life! And the Lord says that you will ‘get to the other side’.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called…
Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
