Putting On Christ – your Lion Bites word for today
Romans 13:11-14
And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
‘Wear my light. Wear me!’
As you dress in the morning and stand deciding what to put on for the day, do not forget to ‘put on Christ’ along with your clothes. Do not forget to ‘dress for the day’ spiritually as well as in the natural. For He is giving you clothes of power, of transformation and of light which will shift atmospheres and circumstances; glory clothes that are carrying with them solutions and breakthrough! Do not pass me by, says God, ‘For I am holding clothes of light for you to wear!’
God is giving you clothes to wear, today and everyday. They are designed and fitted to enable you fully walk in all that the Lord is calling you to. There is an ease about this, as you take what the Lord gives you to ‘put on’ and step out in it.
Some of you are taking ‘glory clothes’ from the Lord that will bring healing and alignment with heaven’s will on earth; some are putting on armour for breakthrough and spiritual warfare; others are for pioneering and building. See what clothes the Lord is giving you today – and then put them on. Put on Christ and the armour of light He has given you.
