Jesus is the light, and His promise is that He is with His children, always. And He says to you, His child, ‘Wherever we go together we shall chase darkness out’. Where the light of God is there is no shadow. There is no shadow of darkness with Him.

And He reminds you now: ‘Be my light carriers, carriers of my pure light that is not tainted by the world. Carry my brilliant light and be continually filled and shining forth with my bright glory and my radiant life. Do not be timid of afraid but instead be the one who is illuminated by the one who gives life, and expel darkness wherever you go.’

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.
