Remain in Me! – your Lion Bites word for today

Look to me and be radiant. Look to me and live. My eyes are always upon you. My Spirit lives within you. My Son’s blood protects you. My heavenly hosts swirl around you with ever increasing fierceness. You are sheltered, you are secure, you are hidden. You are also dangerous to the enemy. Remain in me! Do not be lured out into the shadow lands of unbelief and fear. Remain in me! I am your place of flourishing. Watch the fruit burst out of you. Show the world that you are my disciple – then the people will come running because they will see that your God is with you.

Genesis 39:2-4
The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand. So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.

John 15:7-11
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
