Rest and Rise – your Lion Bites word for today
I know that you have felt the stirring in your heart for advancement, but you have gotten discouraged, have felt hopeless and have doubted the call. Do not partner with hopelessness, my child. Come and rest beside me; take a moment and look up at the stars. Did I not name each one? Did I not create the heavens and the earth? Did I not create you? Did I not endure the cross so that you can be free?
Come, sit by me and remember the things I have done for you. Let me restore your hope and let me wash away all the disappointment and hopelessness. Choose to take delight in the things that I have done for you. I have indeed called you to advance; do not doubt the call. Do not let disappointment keep you from moving forward. Rest in me, remember what I have done for you, and rise up with hope and courage!
Job 12:7-10
But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you.
