Restless Stirrings – your Lion Bites word for today

‘I am stirring up things inside of you and it will make you restless. I am stirring your heart to feel my compassion, your bones to feel my sense of justice and your ears to hear new words of grace from me. Don’t become anxious or fearful at these fresh stirrings, which I send to refresh and re-invigorate you. Circumstances that were familiar may now feel a little unsettling and things that once looked one way to you may look different now, as you look through different lenses. You may have more of a feeling of being an alien in a foreign land than you had before.’

These new feelings can be ignored and suppressed if you want everything to stay as it was but heed the urge to instead feel what God is giving you and see things from this new perspective. As you do, your heart-beat will become more in step with heaven’s and you’ll come alive to a great degree. Be refreshed, not alarmed, by what God is stirring inside of you.

Psalm 24:3-6
Who may climb the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies.
They will receive the LORD’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their saviour.
Such people may seek you and worship in your presence, O God of Jacob.
